Custer head coach Mick Patzlaff didn’t mince words when discussing the Custer High School girls basketball team’s two games last weekend, in which the ’Cats were hammered by 33 points in each game.
Whatever the most severe form of dejection is, it summed up Patzlaff following the games.
“I thought we would at least compete. That was obviously not the case,” he said. “I thought we had a group of kids who wanted to go out and compete.”
