The grand prize winner of the $100 Amazon gift card was Sarah Polley (11,700 pages). The second place winners of the $ 75 Amazon gift card were Cheryl Strege and Merle Glenn (7,200 pages each). The third place winner of the $50 Amazon gift card was Tom Gerhardt (7,050 pages). Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to everyone who participated!
Thank you, Merle Glenn, for donating your $75 Amazon Gift card back to the library; we will be using it toward the Magical Masquerade Community Evening that the library is planning. Be on the look out for further information in the near future concerning the community evening.
We would also like to thank Wilma Behm for transcribing the cassette tapes from the living history interviews. This was truly a painstaking favor and very much appreciated!
The 1,000 books Before Kindergarten Program is available year round. Please come into the library and register your child/children.
Imagination Club meets on Thursdays right after school in the Kids’ Annex.
Storytime is on Fridays at 9:30 a.m. in the Kids’ Annex. You are invited to join the wonderful preschoolers from the Hill City Boys & Girls Club for stories and fun activities.
The Book Club will meet April 27 at 5 p.m. at the library to discuss “A Splendid Ruin” by Megan Chance. Everyone is welcome! Book Club books are available at the library help desk.
We look forward to seeing each and every one of you at your Hill City Public Library.
