She and her husband Terry owned a catering business and a five-star French Creperie in the San Francisco Bay (Calif.) area and they owned and operated an independent claim adjusting company for over 25 years. Many accolades went to Sandra, and she was recognized by many as one of the fairest and finest adjusters in the entire state of California and Nevada.
She also found time to become owner and founder of a candy store (Kernel Sandy’s) and a very successful catering business.
She and Terry retired to Custer, S.D., 15 years ago, where they lived together in a home she designed and built. She never ceased to amaze people with her talent and successful attitude.  She was an avid animal lover and will have her ashes spread with over 30 dogs and cats she included in her kind and caring life.
She will be missed by everyone she ever met.
