Roland Herman

Roland Herman was born Nov. 10, 1931, in Wood, S.D. to Otto and Margret (Woehl) Herman.    He proudly served in the U.S. Navy until his honorable discharge in 1954.
Roland, of Hot Springs, S.D., passed away Jan. 15, 2022, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyo. He was 90.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Eileen; brothers, John, Bob, Pat and Irvin Herman; sisters, Viola “Vi,” Lillian, Gerda “Gert,” Mary and Evylin.
He is survived by his son, Irvin Eugene Herman; nephew, Bob (Nancy) Herman of Custer, S.D.; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m., Friday, Jan. 28 at Chamberlain McColley’s Funeral Home in Hot Springs.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 28 at Chamberlain McColley’s Funeral Home in Hot Springs.  Committal services will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Oral, S.D.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley’s Funeral Home in Hot Springs.
