Lynn’s offers fresh sushi daily

Sushi may not be the first thing you think about when shopping at Lynn’s, but now you can safely add it to your list. Thanks to the work of store manager, Barry Bowar, and Family Fresh Sushi, the dynamic duo of Freddy and Tony are preparing fresh sushi daily for locals and tourists alike.
According to Tony Bik, the sous chef who works under owner, Freddy Hlang, sales so far have been very good and the word is spreading rapidly. The small sushi kitchen  is set up near the deli and bakery offerings and the display case is packed full of delicious creations.
Freddy and Tony are both natives of Myanmar (Burma) and are well versed in the art of creating masterpieces of fresh fish, rice and seaweed. Freddy has 13 years under his belt and Tony has 10, so they know their way around the kitchen.
The two begin at 8am preparing their creations for the day. There are vegetarian, cooked and raw options, as well as seaweed salad, chicken and pork potstickers and squid salad. Chef’s Favorite, Dragon Roll, Cucumber & Avocado Roll, Salmon, Tuna and Unagi (eel) are just a few of the options on-hand throughout the day.
If you’d like something for a get-together, platters, sashimi and hand rolls can be special ordered. But the everyday offerings are diverse and plentiful enough that there should be something to suit everyone’s palate.
