Dawn Murray is interim chamber director

The Custer Area Chamber of Commerce has announced Dawn Murray has been named interim executive director of the chamber.
“It is with delight we  announce that Dawn Murray, a longtime employee of the chamber, will serve as interim executive director for the Custer Area Chamber of Commerce while the board considers the best future direction of the chamber,” the chamber board announced in a press release. “She has grown into this position, and we look forward to her continued leadership as interim director.
“The board is confident with this decision and we know that Dawn will continue to fulfill the chamber’s mission.”
Murray steps into the role in the wake of the resignation of former director Monte Hartl, who resigned late last month after being on the job for just over four months.
