City cleanup coming

The City of Custer’s cleanup day will take place Monday, April 25. Unlike past years, however, participants will place the items they would like collected on their curbside anytime between April 20-25 for pickup April 25.
City residents who are residential water users will be able to participate at no cost. Commercial accounts will not be allowed to participate.
All waste will be accepted with the exception of hazardous materials such as liquid paint, anti-freeze, and herbicides. No freon appliances such as refrigerators and air conditioning units will be accepted unless certified that freon has been properly removed. No tires will be accepted.
No yard waste will be collected during this event. A yard waste dropoff site will be available April 23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the intersection of Sylvan Lake Road and Willow Creek Road.
