Bruce Grummons

Bruce Grummons was born March 13, 1939, seven miles west of Pringle, S.D., to George Morgan and Vivian Nicolls.
Bruce was formerly the maintenance superintendent at the oil refinery in Newcastle, Wyo., where he lived for 57 years. He was also a member of the Newcastle Volunteer Fire Department.
Bruce died Feb. 17, 2021 in Newcastle. He was 81.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Morgan and Vivian Nicolls; and his sister, Diane Grummons.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Gloria; sons, Kelly Grummons of Lakewood, Colo., and Paul (Lucky) Grummons and George Grummons of Newcastle; sisters, Opal (Ricky) Forbes of Thornton, Colo. Cora (Doug) Petersen of Parade, S.D., and Joann (Mark) Boggs of Edgemont, S.D.; grandchildren, Jessica Grummons of Newcastle, Jennifer (Taylor) Ide of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Christopher Grummons and Heather Grummons of Newcastle; and great-grandchildren Aleya Grummons and Silas and Samuel Bridges.
Services were Feb. 22 at 10 a.m. at Church on the Hill in Newcastle. Burial  was Feb. 22 at the Pringle Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Newcastle Volunteer Fire Department.
