Hill City’s Star Spangled Saturday attracted visitors and locals. Although numbers were down from last year, the event still created a steady stream of traffic throughout town. Hill City Senior Center officials estimate about 250 pancake breakfasts were served despite logistical challenges created by the the new Hill City Center not yet being open.
Parade goers were treated to a helicopter flyover from Black Hills Aerial Adventures as well vehicles from the Hill City Volunteer Fire Department and the Forest Service.
